Ok, here’s the scoop… Been really busy, crunch time at work. Mad crazy hours. Don’t even have time to blog. Project was supposed to be over this Monday, but was pushed to God knows when. If I’m lucky, I’ll be pushed on another project. But, I don’t know how good my performance has been lately. I’m a previous tester. I pretty much know what is and isn’t going to be fixed, so it’s tough to make a judgement call about certain bugs. However, having 30 guys fighting over stupid bugs is stupid.

Hockey playoffs: we lost. 3-4 we should have won that game. Now the season is over, and I’m kinda worried about next season, if there is even a team or if I can even afford to pay for it.

Bike is 99% done, just needs new pedals (or get the ones on it straightened), and have the speedo box at the wheels replaced so the speedo will work. Gonna have the classes this weekend. Can’t wait. Soon I’ll be legal to ride the streets.

Been looking at iPods lately. I can’t decide on which one: The $250 4mb Silver Mini iPod, much like my Silver Mini. Or the $236 15GB iPod. Can’t decide. Doesn’t Matter, Best Buy doesn’t carry either of those… Gonna have to buy from Amazon. You know you wanna buy me one… No? =(

After a ~12 hour shift, gotta sleep. Maybe I’ll write more sometime later on…

I guess that’s one way to end a season… In our defense, we were short benched. But, that’s no excuse. We should have fended off these guys. We’ve done better with worse odds. I think. Doesn’t matter, the season is over. We just have to play harder in the playoffs starting next week. Let’s get ’em, guys…

Side note. After looking at the Logitech Ice score sheet, I noticed something. It’s nice to make a dent in that team’s record. They would have gone undefeated if it weren’t for us. Puts a small tear to my eye… Small… Then again, it could have been the outcome of this game…

Ok, so, it’s the end of the day. Everyone’s gone but me, Douglas and leads. I think we were talking about Rumble Roses, an all female wrestling game, then we came upon the subject of DOA Beach Volleyball. Boss girl calls it ”dress-up with Barbie” on a console and claims it’s ok for guys to play if they admit that’s just it. Well, Douglas goes on to say the line, ”If I had boobs, I’d never leave the house.” No one knew how to respond to that. I don’t know what spawned the conversation, I don’t recall if it was about the having boobs or playing with Barbies, but boss girl says something to the effect of, ”That sounds weird coming out of [Douglas’] mouth.” and went on to say, ”if it came out of Adam’s mouth, it’d seem normal.” I’m sensing an HR visit to her office tomorrow… Am I giving out some girl vibe that every girl just zones onto? I’m not going into work tomorrow, and Douglas is going to tell her it’s ’cause I’m at a shrink… I’m not a girl, seriously.

Ah the struggle with this team. It’s epic now. The thing is, I think we could have taken them today. But, being the Misfits, we let it slip away the last possible minute. Yes, we have a habit of doing that, and I have no idea why. Well, it’s not a loss, so I’ll take it. I just hope we do better next week. Grats me for a great tip. Although, pure luck, I know what I wanted to do, not that I knew exactly what I was doing. Good thing I practiced all those years ago with my brother HA.

Ok, so everyone has read about the 911 challenge at Cluck-U’s, correct? Today, we went to Prince of Wales Pub (POW) in San Mateo. Funny thing is, I’ve always seen that place when in town to see my Grandparents and never thought anything. Today, I actually walked in the place and came out full of their habenero burger and a bumpersticker in hand. (I’ll up a pick soon) So, six (I think) of us took the habanero burger challenge. Basically, it’s the hottest sauce mixed in and on top of the hambuger meat. Much like the 911 Challenge, it’s hothothot. However, we all agreed that the 911 challenge was MUCH worse. I think the hardest thing about the burger was eating (scarfing) the buger fast so as to feel the least amount of pain in the shortest amount of time. One guy, Chen, at the burger in something like less than a minute. I wasn’t last surprisingly enough. So, now we have another place to challenge people. Heck, if Linnie comes to town, I’ll take her there too. =) The funny thing is, tomorrow, before the CA Extreme Arcade Show, we’re supposed to be going to Cluck-U’s for lunch. Ok, I’ve had my share of spicy ass food.

Lots o’ hockey the past two weeks. No normal posts from me. Eventually… Back to hockey. Suprisingly enough, we kept it about even throughout the game, even despite the obvious ringer they had on their team. Funny thing is, it kinda looked like an older brother of my brother’s friend Danny. Anyway, somewhere I think in the third period (maybe second) I take a puck to the bottom of my shin. Kinda where the tongue is on the skate. Man, that wasn’t fun. Somehow, we let a shorthanded goal slip away. That’s ok, we just have to be more careful next time. Which happens to be next Sunday. So, be ready. I hope I’m up for it. BTW read the note on the score sheet. I hope you can find it…

What a game. After a good 45 minute delay of game because of the Shark’s camp, we finally got to play. I got there at about 2:45 thinking the game was at 3:15. Yeah right, I look at the board and the game time is at 3:45, nice. So, I’m sitting there with Jeff waiting for the damn game to start, only to find that they’d delay it another 15 minutes. Funny thing is some players on both teams came on time, for the new time. So, were you late or did you know about the time change? HA, thanks for the email informing us of the time change, LOL j/k.

Anyway, playing against our own goalie was a real treat, heh. What? you say. Yeah, the other team didn’t have a goalie so we lent them ours. So, whom was your goalie? you ask. Richard goaltended for us. No, not RichC; although that would have interesting. No, RichardDM did. First time for our team, and he did real good. Grats to Mike and Joe for a four point game and Byron for a 3 point game. Let’s kick ass on Monday. Yes, I said Monday.

Well, tomorrow the tent goes over my house. I hate doing that. I remember the last time, I was little. It wasn’t fun, basically moving out of your own house. Stupid bugs are at it again. Well at least I have Belle to help me out or else me and my cats would be homeless for 3 days. Man, I gotta work a from 10 to 10 tomorrow. Man. Sleep is gold…

What seemed like a loss in the first period, turned out with us on top. We never stopped fighting (figuratively… and I guess a little literally) and kept on going, even despite the crappy new (?) refs that didn’t call much at first, and when they did it was on us. So our 3 game week has come to an end. Nice end with a win. Grats to Byron with the game winning & PP Goal and a 3 point game (2g1a). Grats to Richard for getting his name all over the score sheet with 3 points of his own (1g2a) as well as some nice penalties HAR (3). I think in the second period, Kelly went out with a shoulder injury. We wish him a speedy recovery. Like by next week… Great game all. Continue this trend next week. Can it be a trend with one game? Yeah, whatever.
