Bah, Pre-season… Honestly, I don’t know if we had a 2 week break or a 2 month break. We all seemed so slow. Of course, I was no exception. However, we had plenty of chances. Gah, we’ll be seeing them plenty. Next time, we’ll get ’em.

I’m at a loss for words… A Matrix Massively Multiplayer Online game? Move over WoW, Middle Earth Online, and EQ2… Er… Yeah, right. I’ll believe it when I see it.

ATI is really starting to piss me off. I purchased a part (DVI to VGA converter) on Feb 12th and on March 9th I write to them asking WhereTF is my part? They say:

Sorry to hear that you have not received your order as of yet. Your order was shipped on Feb 19, 2004 and today is the 12th business day. As per our website it says that regular mail can take up to 10 business days and although that is on the website we are at the mercy of the postal service and therefore orders can take longer than 10 business days. If you do not receive your order by Friday March 13, 2004 please notify me and I will send you a replacement at no charge.Thank you for your patience in regards to this matter.

Time passes, its March 15th and still no part. I email them again to get this:

Thank you for your response, I will be sending you replacement adapter first thing tomorrow morning and you should have it the following day. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Today is APRIL the 7th (well ok now its the 8th) I decide to email them again and ask for a refund ’cause this is the longest overnight delivery in history! I receive this:

In my previous email I had instructed you to notify me by March 13, 2004 if you had not received your order. We do not have refunds on our accessories and I will be sending you replacement adapter as I had originally stated.

To which I respond with: Actually, I have contacted you by March 13th and dated March 15th you said you were sending a replacement (as in attachments). And I still haven't received the part. Are there trackable shipments in Canada? Ok, so I lied. I didn’t email them by March 13th, I gave them until March 15th, a whole TWO days extra for the part to show up! To which they respond with:

Sorry about the delay, I had sent you the replacement adapter to you. Your credit will be sumbitted for $15 on Monday April 12, 2004 and could take up to 10 business days to appear on your credit card. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

Er, DUH… If it’s the same 10 business days they were going to send out the part, I’ll probably never going to see that $15 dollars either, huh? Damn you, ATI.

Edit: 4/15/04 2:30AM Holy CRAP! My Account was ACTUALLY credited the $15 dated (according to my bank) 4/12/04!! It’s a miracle!

On a side note, Wayne Brady talked about William Hung. It doesn’t help the Asian community that a girl in the audience yells out “Asian Pride”. Wayne goes on to say something to the effect that he understands pride, but you wouldn’t buy a house from a guy if it was done poorly. He also goes on to make fun of himself and claims to want to buy the CD out of curiousity. Anyone wanna rip me one so I don’t have to waste my non existand money?

On a complete different note, I got the ATI TVWonder in now, maybe I’ll make more bootleg. HAR j/k sorta… Tivo + TVWonder/A-I-W / Adobe Premiere = good times. Har.

Reality Show Looking For Aspiring Porn Star I think I got to this page looking for an article on the sky rocketing prices of cable bills.

Someone stole my emblems on my car yesterday while I was at hockey. You f’king a-holes. WTF you gonna do with a f’king emblem, you sh*tface?! I hope karma bites you in the f’king ass!

What seemed like a really even game through the first two periods, turned out an upset for us in the third. This team was faster and worked great together. I may only speak for myself, but we weren’t on our toes the third period. It didn’t help that the refs didn’t call anything throughout the game leading one ref to get in the middle of a one way scrum and getting a stick in the face for a bloody nose. That’s what you get for letting a game get out of hand. Take control of the game, don’t play p*ssy just ’cause you wear stripes.

For me, I don’t know if I was rested enough, had things on my mind, or still recovering from a hit last night, or whatever. I don’t think I played my best. I sure did hurry to the puck, and I even drew a penalty. I felt no spark. No use thinking about it now. We took second place in the DD league, which isn’t bad at all. Think about how we were doing not that long ago! I just gotta work out and get ready for the summer season. Great season guys. Hope to see y’all back next season, even if it’s up in the stands.

What seemed like an easy win turned to be a close struggle. Refing could have used some work, as we had 6(?) penalties, whereas the Wolves only had one. I was getting beat up out there pretty hard, considering my first shift I was elbowed in the jaw and managed to blurr my peripheral vision for a few shifts. Now, I have a huge headache and my jaw hurts. Nice. No call there. What ARE the symptoms of a concussion? … Later in the game I was stood up at their blue line, also no penalty. However on the other side of the offensive zone, Kelly was called for a lame penalty that should not have been called.

Keeping my playoff streak going, I scored the 5th goal and stayed out of the penalty box. Kelly says the goal of the game goes to Dave for a nice pull of the puck and over the goalie’s shoulder.

Well, it looks like were going against the 1st place team, USeh… Odd, our playoffs were against teams with names containing an acronym. USeh pounded the 4th place team, the Charleston Chiefs, 8-2. Let’s give them a run and beat these guys. Tomorrow, 6PM Center Ice. Be there!

I don’t know what to say. Only, f’k YEAH! I’m kinda glad we lost that last game against them. It gave them false hope that this was going to be an easy win for them. Then again, we aren’t in second place for nothing. Kelly with the bright idea of putting me, Rich, and himself on the first line because we can rile them up, was GENIUS! I most like the first period when, I’m sorry I forget who (Brian or Sean?), laid up some guy. And when I say laid-up, I mean he got AIR. It was his fault ’cause he jumped, got a nice blood stream on the side of his forehead.

I’d have to admit it, I had a really crappy season, this season. I don’t know if it was the number change or the fact that this league is a little harder than the one I was in previously at Ice Oasis, but really crappy season. However, maybe I can just say, I kept it all for the post season. With 2 goals (one power-play goal, 1st and 3rd goal) on my belt for the game, I hope to keep this post season thing going next week. I’d have to admit, I don’t know if it was just a GREAT screen by my line (Richard and Kelly) or if one of them also knocked it away. But, I just tossed it to the net, and I’m sure it hit one of their player’s stick and went in the goal. I’ll TAKE it.

Wow these refs didn’t know how to ref. So, unbalanced game even tho we won. They had 4 penalties and we had 8. Yes, EIGHT. Bah. I’ll take the win. Here’s to you guys! Oh and Kelly, thanks for letting me take the last shift for the op for the hat trick. Next time I’ll get it, and I’ll get you next time. Grats to me, har. Also, Joe H. for a nice deke for the goal and 2 assists. Marshall also with a 3 pt game. And grats to Jeff for an assist the last goal, go goalie! HA. Great game, guys, everyone.
