With the unveiling of our Summer hockey schedule, it has come to my attention that my game starts a half an hour before my cousin, Hayley’s, first birthday party. Hrm… Damn you, Logitech Ice!

Wheeeeee, my Summer hockey schedule is up now. =)

Well, holy crap. The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim just made history as the heavy underdog by sweeping the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Detriot Red Wings, early in the first overtime. The last time a defending champ team was swept in the next year since like 1950 something. (1952-1953?)

Although not a Duck, we need more guys like this guy. Too bad I’m not 5’11″…

I had to drive myself to hockey today, since my parents are with my brother ’cause his team is finishing up their season in the state finals out of town. I don’t usually like to drive myself ’cause after I play I’m so tired, I probably would end up killing myself on the road ’cause I’d be so tired. Was that redundant?

Today we were victorious! I actually managed to stay out of the penalty box today too! Also, I managed to stay plus in my +/- today a +2!!! I don’t think I even had a +2 last season… On top of that I got an assist too! Damn, I’m reacting like I’ve never gotten a point before. Well, points come rare for me in this league for some reason. Maybe it’s a harder league. I used to be a scoring machine over at the Ice Oasis, here, I’m just another winger/center.My first shift I managed to mess up my knee again. But, after a few minutes of sitting on the bench, it sorta went away. I don’t feel it now, I just hope I don’t feel it tomorrow.Today, we actually out shot the other team keeping our goaltender away from the puck. But beating a team 2-7? Have we ever done that? I don’t think so. I’m hoping we do WAY better this season. To bad this was still a pre-season game, damnit…

I find it odd, that it’s been raining the WHOLE day today, but ONLY when I’m NOT playing hockey. Yes, it rained on the way to the rink and it rained on the way home. When I got out of the rink, the ground was sooo dry. Like it abruptly stopped as soon as I got in the rink. I think someone up there hates me.

Also, I’m sure He didn’t want me to paintball this weekend. Too bad we decided last Sunday that we wouldn’t go this weekend, since we already went 3 weeks in a row… But, He had it rain just in case we changed our minds. There’s always next week!

Holy crap, the Oilers sucked yesterday. Game two between the Edmonton Oilers and the Dallas Stars ended 1-6, almost as pitiful as one of our games. With tempers VERY high there was much tension at the ends of the 2nd and 3rd periods. I was SO hoping to see another goalie fight. Only this time would be PRO hockey and not the minor league.

Speaking of which, our second and last summer pre-season game today at 4:45PM. Has anyone noticed the stupid bar on the right where it has my full hockey schedule (when it comes to me) and hockey standings. I didn’t make the “standings” stand out too much, but I liked the pop-up window on the links so I just had to use it.

Supposedly, there’s as much cancer causing tar in one joint than FOUR cigarettes. Wonder if that’s true.

Wierd, AIM just crapped out for about 5 minutes. Wonder wtf happened. Maybe someone hacked their server. Muahahahahhah.
