Li’l C’s Sick AGAIN!

Ok, ok. I brought my car into the shop just to change the timing belt and it turns out I need more than just changing my timing belt. Apparently I have VERY low compression in my engine, where I need a valve job. GDit all to hell. That’s an extra $1k I have to spend to fix her. I just got my car back from the shop for that damn differential that I paid $800+ to fix AND IT WASN’T EVEN A LSD (Limited Slip Differential). Damn cars. My mom was right I shoulda bought a brand new car. But I still love my Li’L C. Now, I don’t get my car until sometime next week. 🙁

Digital Bootleg, Ain’t It Sweet?

So, I managed to download a bootleg copy of “The Fast and The Furious.” Didn’t take long becuase everyone has it so the bandwith transfer is high. Now, I have to use KaZaA because my other DLer sucks. It’s cool now that I can watch it over and over again, too bad theres no music track 🙁 Oh well, beggers can’t be chosers, eh?

Thursday hockey was a blast! Finally our 0-7 losing streak is over. Although we didn’t win, we still played our best game with a tie 2-2 to make our record 0-7-1. Still crappy, but better than 0-8, right? Quick breakdown goes a little like this, (I can’t give a more thorough explanation since my memory is bad.) We were already down a point in the first period, when I set up one of our “D” and score a goal. 1-1. 3rd period, I have the puck and zig-zag myself to the goal to get the second goal. 2-1. A little over a minute left in the game and the other team scores a goal and we are forced to take a tie. But, we played our hearts out… I think that sounds right…

Damn Them 12 Year Olds

How do you manage to live until the age 12 without knowing to chew your food before you swallow?! I give no pity to the stupidity of the 12 year old child who choked on the jelly cup. Why am I so cold hearted? ‘Cause they want to pull all of those jelly cup snacks from all the shelves; including my favorite, the lychee jelly cup. I bet at Ranch 99 or Marina, our local “Asian” markets, they won’t give a damn and leave it on the shelves. I hope so. LEARN TO CHEW BEFORE SWALLOWING SOLID FOODS DAMNIT. I can understand maybe a three year old having trouble reading the warning label, but a damn 12 year old? moO made it a point that sometime in the past someone has died while eating an apple. Do you think they take apples off the shelves? No, why? Because they figure that the average person or child is intelligent enough to know how to eat correctly and chew solid foods before swallowing. What’s the moral of the story? CHEW OR DIE! um, ok…

This Friday I managed to mess up my car again. I took apart part of the front end of my engine in order to replace my faulty water pump and ended up messing up the timing by moving the crankshaft and moving the cams and cam sprockets. Monday, we (Shia helped out alot) managed to get the timing and junk all lined up and got it started, but then after we started the car it started to make this God awful squealing which we first diagnosed in our “professional” opinion as belt problems. Later, I asked my dad what he thought. He said it’s probably the bearings. But, what bearings, he could not tell us. Ironically enough it might even be the water pump bearing that needs to be replaced. Interesting how life works…

Freedom!!!

Finals are over for Summer school! YAY! Now I can just sleep all day! Well, no, I guess I should go find a job now that I can work full time. Well, then again, even during summer school I was looking for a job with no success.

FIRE!

The most odd thing happened to us yesterday. There was a fire at our house. Well, not a huge raging fire, but a small BBQ fire coming from the neighbor’s house. It turned out they had left some still hot charcoal on the ground at the side of our houses. Theres alot of dry leaves and stuff at the side of the house which let the charcoal slow burn. It burned part of our fence! We found it odd that our house smelled like fire for two days. But, when we went out side in the back yard to see if any of the nearby houses were set on fire, we came up with nothing. It wasn’t until a neighbor come to our house to tell us our fence was on fire that we knew the source of the smell. He tried to blame it on the fact that it was hot and the trees and bushes wasn’t watered. Um, no, dumbass. It’s because of the damn charcoal. Who ever left the charcoal out there hot has to be the biggest dumb ass! Luckly, we found the fire in time so nothing more than the fence had burned down.

[FIRE!] [FIRE!] [FIRE!] [FIRE!]

On a completely different note, Li’l C got to a whopping 111k miles this weekend! I think it’s time for a new engine. After all the repairs I’ve done to her already, much more is needed.

[Lil C got to 111k mi this weekend :( Time for a new engine.]

Li’l C. Caught A Virus. :(

Hrm, as I was parking in front of Pam’s house, Li’l C was making weird noises, but only in reverse. She sounds fine going forward, just not as I back out. I dunno. I guess I bring her in again sometime soon. Damn, I was really lazy today. I was supposed to fix all the little stuff on the car I am able to fix like the fuel filter, change the oil, etc. But, the mail order show didn’t send me the second back order box that was supposed to come, so I wouldn’t be able to do all the things I wanted to do anyway.

Hockey Ache

Tonight, our team just made our record 0-5 🙁 I managed to score 2 goals. The first one was on a nice cut and shoot. The next was on the rebound, goalie spawled out from the first shot, I had a nice wide open shot. After my goals it was 2-1. After 3 periods, the game ended 3-2. What an upset, I really tasted the win… up until the point in the 3rd period where I skated hard and fast to the puck trying to get my “hat trick” when I slammed my whole right side into the boards. I still ache while I write this. My hip, elbow and my back just to the right of my spine hurts. I hope it’s nothing serious. We’ll get them next time. Wish us luck next week where we take on the Desert Dogs the 3rd place team with a record of 3-1, oh yeah well get ready for a 3-2 record!!! Or something else cause the standings on the page wasn’t changed to reflect tonight’s games.

Li’l C’s Return Home

She’s back! YAY! Her rear-end had some work but she’s all better now. But, I think under the hood needs a little work, she overheats when all the fluids leak. Maybe I can take some time out of my busy schedule of sleeping and watching Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon to help her out. Too much money spent getting her fixed up, but well worth it!

On a similar subject, Mercedes has hit yet another low. Several years ago with the release of their “C” class was one of their biggest idiot-brained idea. It’s one thing to make a lower class, but to market it as the “affordable” Mercedes is another. When I think Mercedes, I don’t want to think, oh “affordable.” Sure, it’s still out of my budget and it’s expensive as the “affordable” (or not affordable so as the case may be) BMW, but at least BMW didn’t have that lamer marketing scheme. On to the lowest point of Mercedes history, the “C” Coupe. What am I ranting about? IT’S $25,600! Who the hell buys a Mercedes for under $26 and walk around with their head high? Are these the people who buy store name brand products and put them in real name brand boxes to fool their friends? Sorry, if I offended anyone, but, come on $26k for an Import “Luxury” car? It’s just wrong. My opinion? Use that money to buy the top of the line Celica or S2000, at least you’ll feel like you got a deal when you leave the lot, instead of feeling like you bent over for the dealer.

Life.

Last Friday I think I had a little too much. Went to a party an old bud from High School threw in San Francisco. I do not want to ever have to drive around San Francisco if I’m not with someone who knows where to go. It’s a big pain in the ass. A little late I found out it was a theme party, which was “the afterlife.” Interesting what people dressed up as. I dressed up as a dorky computer nerd who died at his monitor. Stupid, huh? I think I was the only one not wearing black… I guess I was also the only one going to Heaven…

The next day I attended a barbeque for another old High School bud. Damn, so many High School friends in one week! The theme of this get-together was “Hawaiian.” Once again I fail to get word that it was themed. I went home somewhere in the middle of it to change into my Hawaiian shirt moO gave me a while back that she got from Hawaii. I always give her a hard time, because one time we were browsing through Miller’s Outpost and saw one very close to the one she gave me. So, I was like, so you really got this in Hawaii, eh? how about a Miller’s Outpost in Hawaii. Heh, I don’t think she liked that remark…

Looking and looking for a job is the hardest thing to do nowadays, now that so many people are unemployed. Businesses have a huge market to pick from, why would anyone want me? I guess I’ll go back to my being unemployed and play Counter Strike.
