Tonight, our team just made our record 0-5 🙁 I managed to score 2 goals. The first one was on a nice cut and shoot. The next was on the rebound, goalie spawled out from the first shot, I had a nice wide open shot. After my goals it was 2-1. After 3 periods, the game ended 3-2. What an upset, I really tasted the win… up until the point in the 3rd period where I skated hard and fast to the puck trying to get my “hat trick” when I slammed my whole right side into the boards. I still ache while I write this. My hip, elbow and my back just to the right of my spine hurts. I hope it’s nothing serious. We’ll get them next time. Wish us luck next week where we take on the Desert Dogs the 3rd place team with a record of 3-1, oh yeah well get ready for a 3-2 record!!! Or something else cause the standings on the page wasn’t changed to reflect tonight’s games.

She’s back! YAY! Her rear-end had some work but she’s all better now. But, I think under the hood needs a little work, she overheats when all the fluids leak. Maybe I can take some time out of my busy schedule of sleeping and watching Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon to help her out. Too much money spent getting her fixed up, but well worth it!

On a similar subject, Mercedes has hit yet another low. Several years ago with the release of their “C” class was one of their biggest idiot-brained idea. It’s one thing to make a lower class, but to market it as the “affordable” Mercedes is another. When I think Mercedes, I don’t want to think, oh “affordable.” Sure, it’s still out of my budget and it’s expensive as the “affordable” (or not affordable so as the case may be) BMW, but at least BMW didn’t have that lamer marketing scheme. On to the lowest point of Mercedes history, the “C” Coupe. What am I ranting about? IT’S $25,600! Who the hell buys a Mercedes for under $26 and walk around with their head high? Are these the people who buy store name brand products and put them in real name brand boxes to fool their friends? Sorry, if I offended anyone, but, come on $26k for an Import “Luxury” car? It’s just wrong. My opinion? Use that money to buy the top of the line Celica or S2000, at least you’ll feel like you got a deal when you leave the lot, instead of feeling like you bent over for the dealer.

Last Friday I think I had a little too much. Went to a party an old bud from High School threw in San Francisco. I do not want to ever have to drive around San Francisco if I’m not with someone who knows where to go. It’s a big pain in the ass. A little late I found out it was a theme party, which was “the afterlife.” Interesting what people dressed up as. I dressed up as a dorky computer nerd who died at his monitor. Stupid, huh? I think I was the only one not wearing black… I guess I was also the only one going to Heaven…

The next day I attended a barbeque for another old High School bud. Damn, so many High School friends in one week! The theme of this get-together was “Hawaiian.” Once again I fail to get word that it was themed. I went home somewhere in the middle of it to change into my Hawaiian shirt moO gave me a while back that she got from Hawaii. I always give her a hard time, because one time we were browsing through Miller’s Outpost and saw one very close to the one she gave me. So, I was like, so you really got this in Hawaii, eh? how about a Miller’s Outpost in Hawaii. Heh, I don’t think she liked that remark…

Looking and looking for a job is the hardest thing to do nowadays, now that so many people are unemployed. Businesses have a huge market to pick from, why would anyone want me? I guess I’ll go back to my being unemployed and play Counter Strike.

Thursday Schedule Club Night (Beg.) Great… The 3-0 team vs. the 0-3 team, this is gonna be fun. Pre-season I thought we had a really good team going. I guess the other teams are that much better. I guess we have to get a little more organized. And I gotta run more for better and longer stamina. Come and watch if ya wanna. Directions are at the website. I’m #6. Watch me fall on my ass then point and laugh. It’s ok, I’m used to it.

Damn Pacbell again. First it’s taking 6+ months to get the darn thing installed in the first place, now i’m getting mucho downtime. WTF? For two days it was on and off, then down completely for a whole day, it wasn’t until yesterday it wen’t back up. Damn them. I want my $4 worth of down time back! j/k It isn’t worth my breath to whine about downtime. now, if I were selling stuff online and actually needed the ISP, then I’d be REALLY pissed about lost income PLUS downtime. Then again what do they care about customers? If i cancel, where else am I going to go, plus they wouldn’t be hurt if one measly customer was pissed and cancelled. There’s so many DSL subscribers, what’s one canceled? Nada. This is the reason I haven’t been able to post lately, yeah that’s it, blame it on downtime…

So, the new LONG awaited “Star Trek” type series, “Enterprise”, is starting up soon. September 26th to be exact. I personally can’t wait for the hyped show, it better be good. I’m not too into hype crap; but this one might, and I say MIGHT, be an exception. I hope my instincts are right. I seriously don’t want another DS9, which wasn’t a horable series, just not that good. Anyone noticed that Scott Bakula is the capitain on “Enterprise?” I think that’s cool, he’s a really good actor, IMO. I really liked his work on “Quantam Leap” as “Sam.” I’m sure his acting shall live up to his old series, I hope. Then again I haven’t seen him do much since then…

Today, I finally replaced my lost cell phone, damn my crap memory. Hope, I find it. Then again, what do I need another phone for? Then just feel stupid for buying a phone. So, if anyone called me recently and didn’t leave me a message and found that I didn’t pick up or didn’t return your call, I’m sorry, that’s the reason. For some reason I picked up a non-Nokia phone. Yes, yes, I know. Adam is a BIG nokia promoter. Oh well. I picked up a Panasonic Promax just becausemy dear friend, Carrie, recommended it. Then again she DID say she’d buy another Nokia 8260…

Today I moved my babie to a different shop. $3k for one job seems like alot. Hell, $3k could have bought me my body kit and a nice paint job or even a supercharger!… or I could have paid some of my bills nicely. The new shop I brought it to today is some small Vietnamese gas station, but he said they were ripping me off for the $3k, I’d think so too. According to my calculations, if I add up all the things they told me to fix it would only be, at most 1800! I still want to do the work myself, but then I wouldn’t be able to work or do homework, so it’s high priced opportunity cost.

Aw, seems that imood.com is having some problems. Maybe just a server move.

I finally got around to bringing my car into the show to get the differential done, turns out the driveshaft is shot as well. When I asked what the grand total was, I didn’t expect it to be a FEW grand. Yeah, they wanted about 2,800 for the differential/driveshaft/labor. At this point in time, I’m debating if I should just put that 3k towards a down payment for my Altezza. moO wasn’t amused when I brought that up. Oh well, maybe I get a new car next year.

Yesterday was the second day back to school. Odd, I was just in school last week. Hella stupid that we don’t even get a week break in between quarters. At least it’s only six weeks. Hrm, summer sessions suck. You have to shove three months of work in only six weeks. Still, it’s only six weeks. Then again the classes are much longer and you have to sit through a whole 2 hours of one class. Then I have to sit through another 2 hours of another class. Woohoo, I got into all my classes.

Today’s the 4th of July. Duh. Hope there’s something to do tonight. It’s cool I don’t have to work either today, ’cause I have tons of homework already.

After a long year of playing one of the most popular online video games, I have to retire from the Everquest world. I haven’t finalized it just yet, but it’s coming. I managed to cancel one of my accounts, sad to say, it was my Human Monk named Wongfeii Hungg. moO was a little too happy when I told her this. After a year of the server Torvonnilous and my guild Subversive Destiny, I’m find myself asking do I have a destiny?

For the past couple months, I’ve been trying to get my epic weapon, the Spear of the Fates, but each time I mention it I get told to shut up. I am on the very last thing to kill to get it and the guild wouldn’t help. Strangely enough, when I asked one time if they’d help me I was told we weren’t doing epics and to go level, and the next week they were doing several epic mobs. Again I asked to have the last part of my epic done, I am told, “No, your epic doesn’t contribute to the guild.” WTF is that, sure it doesn’t, but maybe perhaps for my moral it does. It might even help me level faster. Was that taken in account for? Probably not, which is why today I still do not have my epic weapon.

Today was my latest (and perhaps last) attempt at the final epic mob. I had everything set up: reminders, scheduling, player invites, I was good to go. Our guild moral isn’t the best at the moment so that didn’t help any. We had about a turn out less than hoped. My last mob required two high level magicians (58) and their uber fire pets, and we had to settle for zero. Not true we did have a lvl 57 mage there. Soon our cleric (the main healer) decided this raid wasn’t doing to happen, and drops out. I was like, maybe we should give it a try, it never hurts. Sure without the mages we had less than what I needed, but I managed to invite two mages to come and help later, as they were on a raid themselves, but it wouldn’t be for another hour or two. Few wanted to wait for them. So it was suggested that we should clear out the zone and the place holders for my epic mob, in preparation for the two uber mages to come and kill them. The discouraged were adamant about it not happening. So it didn’t, and I am still without an epic weapon, and perhaps will forever be without.

It’s truly sad, I’ve been with Subversive Destiny way before all the mergers, back when we started out as Subversive Forces, just a bunch of Real Life friends messing around on EverQuest, and this is how I am treated by my guild, my friends, my family.

Today, my cousin Jordan came for a visit, he’s so cute. Today we played foozball with him. He hasn’t quite grasped how to play yet, and cheers no matter which side scores a goal, but he still has fun. I guess thats what we take for granted when we get older, how to have fun, to us elders it’s all about competition.
