Christina, Ludacris, & MTV Music Awards

Um… Did anyone else see the little number Christina Aguilera was wearing at the MTV Music Awards. No complaints here, but that was a bad pic they took. I wasn’t looking, honest!

So, Ludacris will be starring in the new Fast & the Furious 2 movie. More rappers in movies, that’s what we need….

Too bad all the funny stuff was in the beginning. Yes, Jimmy Fallon was pretty hilarious, it just went downhill after about 20 minutes. Sorry, Jimmy. I’m glad Eminem took most of the awards, HA!

*Eminem bashing posts will be deleted!*

Nostalgia & Tee Time Results

I’ve had a large feeling of nostalgia lately. I blame it on my little brother. He ransacked my parents’ room and too all the old home videos and watched them. Don’t ask me why he did, he’s a little weird sometimes. But, after walking past his room while he was playing an old tape of us playing hockey, I sat down with him and watched a bit. I believe that was sometime senior year. I wish I had a working video/audio capture thingie, I’d try to put up a clip of it. Oh well. In any case, I was going through some of MY tapes and came upon some old tae kwon do, hockey, and even wrestling tapes!

Yes, I’m guilty of being a wrestler. How many of you knew that? I wrestled 7th, 8th, and Freshman year in High School. 7th, I dunno how well I did. 8th I went to county’s. Freshman I went to CCS. I managed to score MVP 7th grade and Freshman years. My brother found out I wrestled in JR. & High school. He also found out I was in the lowest weight class the whole time and that many of my matches were won by a bye. Sure, it’s true, I don’t care. I did however prove myself when I had the chance, especially with finals. I lost interest in wrestling during Freshman year since I started tae kwon do.

Starting from scratch, I moved up the ranks fairly quickly. I managed to become 1st degree black belt in 2 years and for my remaining year I was Head Instructor, Co-Owner, and head of the demonstration team. Ah, those were the days. I was a real show-off back in those days. Being on the Demo Team really pushed me to learn new things like cool moves and flips and stuff. Really early in my tae kwon do career, my potential was definetly discovered and I was placed on the demo team as a white belt. On my own time, while I was in the studio and no classes, I pushed myself to learn backflips, frontflips, arials, and other cool things. This jumpstarted a whole new era for the studio. LOL, I call it the ”Wong” era. At one point in time I actually had a demo competition with the Head Master and the other school of ours. I forget where it was, I think it was some church. After the dust cleared, our demo team came up top. I wish I had a video of it. I know someone who does. But I can’t seem to find her. I’m also missing my black belt testing on video. I WOULD have that on tape, but my parents didn’t go to it. So, I don’t have a tape of it. I know of 2 people who have a video of that, and again, I have no way of contacting them. So, sad. I never got to replay that time of my life. One of the highlights of my life. My peak. So sad. Now it’s gone. Gone forever? I hope not, I hope I can get a copy of those tapes. Perhaps… Someday.

Today was our outing at the Pruneridge Golf Course. I did horrible today, it was so pathetic. I dunno what it was, but I just couldn’t hit straight. Maybe I just need more practice. You can see our scored by either clicking on the comments link or by clicking on ”MORE.” I got a little lazy with the putts. I think moO had fun out there, but I know she was really frustrated with the game in general. I think, today, I was too. I think we bored my brother out there ’cause we took so long. Maybe that’s why he went to Deep Cliff an hour or so ago without me! Ph4g!!! I wanted to go to Deep Cliff. It’s way better than Pruneridge. I dunno if it was just the time of day, but it was really muddy. All in all, I think Deep Cliff is a better course, and plus it’s prettier. I think I’ll bring a camera next time!

Check out my link of the moment. I saw this a long time ago, and recently surfaced to me again, I thought I’d share it with you. It’s pretty cool CG. Don’t care for the car AT ALL, but very well done.

The Transporter

Before I forget, remember to see: The Transporter. Why? Other than the fact that I said so? Ok Well, you have cool starts like Jason Statham, Matt Schulze, and SHU QI! You can see Jason in ”The One” with Jet Li. Matt Schulze was in this little movie, you might have heard of it, ”The Fast and The Furious”. (Har Har) And of course, Shu Qi. You might not have heard of her, but I bet she’s up and coming! I saw her in a semi big bugeted Chinese movies called ”Gorgeous”. I’d show her to people, but, someone has my copy… Oddly, I don’t think she’s that ”gorgeous,” not to horrible either, though. From the ”Transporter” trailers I’ve seen, it looks like a really cool movie… but I’ll let you read more about it at the links.

Tee Time

Ok, so, I know I bitched a lot about how I didn’t get to golf today. But, it did suck. I was planning to go to Deep Cliff again today at 6:30 PM but then I found out my dad took them to play earlier this morning and wasn’t to return until like 8. So I just waited until he came back and then I took my brother to Pruneridge to go drive and practice chipping. I dunno if I’m getting better. I guess we’ll see tomorrow since we have a 11:20 AM tee time, and moO is coming this time! We’re in for a few laughs. Hehe just kidding moO… or am I? I’ll be sure to post the results to this one! Is golf such a popular sport that you have to reserve times? Why isn’t there reserved times for tennis? It’s always crowded when I want to play tennis. Then again, tennis is usually in a park somewhere where it’s a public place, versus a privately owned course. Whatever…

Beat The Geeks

I really don’t like her new hair. Who’s she? She’s the co-host of Comedy Central’s ”Beat The Geeks.” Honestly? She’s the only real reason to watch the show. Unless there’s nothing else on or you’re… REALLY …bored!

Golf

Lately, I’ve gotten really into golf. Not so much that I’d want to go out and buy an expensive set of clubs, but just enought that I’d steal my dad’s clubs and go play. Yesterday evening I took my brother and his friend to Deep Cliff Golf Course in Cupertino. It’s a 18-hole course, but we started at about 6 o’clock in the evening so we only played the front 9. I suppose I didn’t do so bad my first time on a course. Ok, not my first time, I used to golf when I was like 12, or something like that. But, obviously it’s been a while. I HAVE been going to the driving range a while now, maybe a couple weeks, and I think I’m getting a little better each time I go. At least my shots don’t fly to the right sharply and over the fence as much anymore. I suppose a 15 over par on a 30 par course isn’t so bad for my first time out. Then again the 9 I got on the par 3 last hole didn’t help me any. I DID manage to get a birdie one hole. Birdie – One under par One great thing about the course was that it was really pretty there, LOTS of nature for you nature go-ers. I even saw about 6-8 deer roaming one of the holes. They seemed to not care we were there, ’cause we just played through. They obviously are used to people now. I got really close to one to fetch a ball, almost 3 feet close. On a small hill near the ”deer hole” I saw 2 little bunnies, they were SO kewt! Alas, I didn’t get to be too close to them since they scattered pretty quickly when they saw me. Like nature? Come be my caddy for a day, LOL!

Props

LOL, I just got some mad props from a white chick in a Camero at the local Shell gass station while I was filling up my babie. She seemed to like my license plate holder. It reads: ”I Eat Rice Boys 4 BreakFast.” breakFAST! Some may know what I’m talking about. Dunno, just weird. To get props from anyone in a domestic. Oh, ”props” was her word, not mine.
