And that ends our 5 game lossless streak and my 2 game point streak. Playing with a short bench, 11 and Jeff, might have hurt us a little, but it’s no excuse. We’ve had less people before and came out on top. We played our best, no doubt. Too bad, today, it wasn’t quite good enough.

I had two really good chances today, but ended up with nothing. The first one was a fast break to a break away with two D’s behind me, I should have deked one more time ’cause when I took a shot it hit the side of his torso. The second, was a similar play but the 2 D’s were in front of me, I tapped the puck infront of me at their blue line, I broke through them an the goalie went far out pas the crease and challenged me and I couldn’t make it to the puck in time. Oh well maybe next time. To all who attended, shake it off, and give it your best next time.

Hrm… a few weeks ago I upgraded my plan to a cheaper (on sale) better plan. WTF am I gonna do with 1600 MG of disk space, 40GB of bandwith, a MySQL database, 2 VPN user access 15 hosted domains and 75 hosted subdomains?! WTF. Anyone wanna help me pay for my stupid plan and take some of my disk space and stuff. Stupid hosting… Great company though, that is until I started talking to people about how GREAT Dreamhost was. Then it was outtage here outtage there. Poo… But it’s still WAYWAYWAY better than my other host with ZERO support. Email me if you or anyone you know is interested, we’ll work something out.

Cheechoo is my hero of the game. But, not just because is he from one of the coolest named places in the world, Moose Factory, Ontario. But because of his first career penalty shot with a HOTHOTHOT deke. HE deked the rookie goalie, Pascal Leclaire, out of his shorts. In his defense this was Leclaire’s 2nd NHL game, called up from the Minor League Syracuse Crunch on 2/17.

Add another to the W column! Another game Flynn was absent, thanks for the help, bud… HA. We managed to hold on to our lead really well, and didn’t show much signs of slowing down. Grats to Byron with a 2 goal game, one being a short handed goal. Grats to Kelly for getting an interferance and an unsportsmanlike penalty, for what I have no idea, but I know the refs for some reason just hates you. HA.

I manged to float around the lines decently, scoring an assist to Marshall with a perfect pass and an equal goal. Early in the third a guy jumps on front of me as I’m skating for the puck, so naturally what do I do? Cross check him. We both sit for 3 minutes. At the end of the game on of the refs pulls me aside and says something like, ”You have a lot of drive, and take a beating.” I respond with my usual, ”You see the size of some of these guys? I have to.” I should lose weight so that I’m faster, but I’m afraid that by doing so I’d lose my padding for when I do get hit… Oh well… We can most likely say hello to the playoffs come mid March. YAY us!

What’s with this f’king wind and rain? I haven’t heard the wind blow this hard for a long time. Same with the rain. Supposedly, there was a flash flood warning in the Napa area. In the back yard, the stupid fence is falling over. The only things holding it up are either the tree one way or the shed the other way. I hope it stops raining soon… Not that I go anywhere…
