Ok, so the Avs. had it in the beginning, but the Sharks kept pounding away. Too bad no good fights today, ha. However, WHAT A SHOT by Cheechoo, through the legs! I gotta find a clip… Oh, NM, thanks to TVWonder!

If you haven’t been to a Sharks game, Sharkie (the mascot) and some young people throw out t-shirts during the intermission. I say they throw out like maybe 10-20 shirts a game. So what are the odds of getting a tshirt in a sellout crowd? Say, 15 in 17,000? What about 2 in 2 consecutive playoff games? No matter the stats, my brother managed to get a t-shirt on Thursday lower level behind the high nets, and today in the upper level. He almost got one a minute before the one he got today, but was just out of reach. What are the friggen odds!? What am I gonna do with all these damn pom-poms!?

w00tage, gettin’ ready for game 2 of round 2. I think I have a little better seats this time. Hell, playoff tickets can’t have bad seats! GOOOOO Avs… Sharks… Damnit… See if you can find the lone Avs 3rd jersey on TV. That’s me.

Holy CRAP, that was a cool game last night. It was hell getting out of the parking lots tho. 17K people there at an obvious sellout. Sharks rocked on my Avs. I’m so confused on who to root for HA. Half the time I wore the Avs 3rd and moO wore the Sharks 3rd jersey. Then we switched, HA. My mom said to cut the two jerseys and sew them together, so I’d still have 2 jerseys but now I have 2 Sharks AND Avalanche jerseys. Yeah, don’t think I can get myself to cutting a jersey let alone two. Anyway. Cool game, thanks to Jack for the awesome tickets. Even though we were at THE VERY HIGHEST SEAT POSSIBLE, HA. Row 16 back against the media booth wall. I was a little disappointed in the performance of the Avs. I know moO was too. They just weren’t skating to the puck, even in the first period. Watching the puck go by doesn’t win games. There was a sad goal by Peter Forsberg where he caught Nabokov sleeping sor something with an ultra slow slider underneath the 5 hole where his stick shoulda been. Boy was I sure happy to see my boy Matthew Barnaby rock some heads that night and even got an instigator penalty/misconduct. HAR. I’ve been relatively good for a long time and stayed out of the box. Except for that lame woosy penalty last game… Too bad Worrell was scratched, and has been all playoffs. It woulda been nice to see him goon it up. HA… Wel, I hope I can get tickets for Saturday’s game, if not, I’ll just watch it on TV or at least Tivo it, YAY. Go Sharks, errr… Avs… Sharks… Whatever…

Holy CRAP, someone buy me this non-functional AT-ST replica. Then again, how would it be ”functional?” Working lazers and the ability to crush Ewoks? Nice 1:2 replica, now where are all the 1:1s?

While roaming the ‘net I came upon one of the geekiest, yet coolest, cars around. From there, I don’t know how, but I came upon a forum making fun of it. I lost the link due to the damn blue screen of death.

And that concludes our pre-season. This team we tied and lost twice to last season. I imagine they were missing most of their highschool kids. HAR. Either way we played hard and didn’t let up.

I guess it didn’t help that I ran out of maxair today and didn’t get enought asthma meds. But, despite that I scored two goals. One was off of a rebound and kept my eye open for the easy goal. The second was a GREAT pass from Joe B. Maybe “great” was an understatement. I was on the ice for the last shift with a hopefull hat trick opportunity, but I was called for a roughing penalty along with the another guy from the other team. I was trying to get him away from me and he kept pushing me and we both get penalties. What a f’king lame wussy penalty. I shoulda made it worth it. This ref was a f’king moron. Not just this call, but he also called a two-line pass. Dumbass. They don’t call two-line passes in this level. Idiot. Also, grats to Byron for being awarded with the har-trick. two powerplay goals AND a shorthanded goal. Grats to Rich for the empty net goal the last 7 seconds to finish the game. Well, it’s the regular season, fellers. Let’s win the championship this season.

Damn you! They’re going to raise the price for renting DVDs from $19.95/mo + tax to $21.99/mo + tax. Now I gotta decide if I can afford such luxury. Damn you!
