I know it’s been a while, I’ve long since been home. I got home from Colorado that Monday. I didn’t get to see the Avs vs. Sharks game as the tickets were $145 each and I felt I couldn’t spend that much money for tickets. I did, however, get to see alot of hockey, since my brother played in a tournament with the 16-under team. Supposedly, it’s the first year together for most of the team, so the outcome was expected. But, I was hoping for a few more wins. They lost the first game, tied the next, and then lost the last two games. Oh, well, it wasn’t his team. I honestly have to say that his line, him and two other guys from is main team, held the team up with 75% of the goals scored. Ha, we got to eat at the Hooters there. Good food, but weird shapes of chicken breasts. They were all curved, kinda funny looking. It’s too bad I didn’t get to go snowboarding, but it’s ok ’cause I got to go snowboarding the following Friday.

Three days after coming home from Colorado nini, moO, Shia, and I piled up in the Accord and drove to Davis to stay and one of nini’s ex-roomates so that we could wake up early the next morning and get straight to the slopes in South Lake Tahoe until Sunday. Up there we met up with a bunch of people, inc. nini’s ex-roomate and her friend Levi and some of his Frat; Belle, Chrissie, Char, and Lil were up there too. Blah blah blah, I get alot of boarding in, but in the terrain park I go up a double platform for a nice ride, but I just nick it wrong and I manage to hit my site pretty hard against a corner of the upper level of the platform. I managed to get a pretty DARK bruise too. It got lighter recently, and I woulda taken a picture but Belle sad she didn’t want to get grossed out and I got lazy, hence the late post. I’m still in pain right now, and am currently looking for Codine or Vicodine. Anyone selling? Short of actually going to the doctors… Hell, if it still hurts on monday, my Mom is gonna make me go to the doctors. Crap, it hurts when I sneeze, laugh, cough, even get up from laying down. DAMN THE PAIN!

SO… This Sunday, eh? I don’t like watching football… Hockey anyone? No? How about 10 hours of Charmed? Any takers? No? Damn… I guess I stay home and watch Charmed by myself… Maybe I can catch up on my C&C, Socom 2, FF11 or even FFX2!

Well, I’m off to Colorado to see my brother play in a hockey tournament with the 16-under team. Wish him and the team luck. Hope no terrorists are on the plane, or I might have to bust out my Rainbow 6 skills on them. All that TV training and that one time firing a handgun might come in handy. HAR. Be back Monday, hopefully.

With a small turnout from both benches, we did rather well with only 8 and a goalie. Dave got a natural hat-trick, and I yet again did nothing. Although, I should have been awarded an assist, but that’s ok. Well rest up everyone, we don’t have a game for another 30 friggin’ days, then we have 2 games that weekend too. Stay safe until then.

Woohoo!! Finally, after much waiting and sheer laziness, I finally got to go to the shooting range and shoot off some rounds. Yesterday, yet only a few hours ago, me, moO, Shia, and Belle went to a shooting range in Milpitas to shoot handguns. I’ve wanted to go shooting for a LOOOOOOOOONG time and finally got to. We got there a little late so we only got about 2 rounds (5 shots each) off of a Glock 9mm. Man, I wanna get one now, HA. But then again I probably won’t. Not cause I’m not allowed to (by many parties) but because guns are expensive. My first round was decent, 2 in the bulls-eye orange and a decent grouping. But, the second round sucked majorly with one not even hitting the circle target on the paper. moO on the other hand had the GREATEST first round, one in the bulls-eye orange and a great group to boot. Of course she kept that target, maybe I’ll get a good pic of it and post it here. MAN, 4 hours later, I’m STILL pumped about it! I can’t wait ’til I go again! Who wants to go?!

Er, um, Carls Jr. has a Low Carb 6 Dollar Burger. It has NO bun, just a few pieces of lettuce making it like a ”wrap”. How weird. Must be that whole ”looking out for America’s weight” thing going around.

Many people ask me if I’m afraid of the whole ”mad cow disease” thing everyone’s talking about, especially after last weeks one pound burger at Redrum Burger. I say, hrm, no, why, should I be? Shia claims I have a higher chance of dying from a heart attack from eating all those burgers than contracting mad cow disease. Sad but true.

I suspect that the HP Pavillion is rigged. Last year was my first year to play at the ”tank,” and if I remember correctly it ALSO ended in a tie. Odd thing is, the game before us also ended in a tie. Maybe its the whole ”have fun” element. You can’t win or lose at the HP Pavillion, just have fun. LOL.

Letting in two shots in the middle of the second period hurt us pretty bad, but it was no reason to give up. In the third, James was awarded the first goal to keep us in the game then another D man, Brian, scored another to tie the game.

On a side note, the HP Pavillion was not build with short people in mind. My first step onto the ice from the locker rooms was a step with a good foot and a half drop onto the ice where I landed with a face plant and I layed there for a few minutes in my stupidness. Getting on and off the bench was also no picnic. I’d have to jump up a foot to reach my leg over the bench wall to be able to get over it.

Strange hockey schedules. Last month we only had a few games, then had the holiday break. This month we only have 3 games then a 2 week break, how lame. Gotta keep in shape while there’s no hockey. Hrm… good thing there aren’t any games tho, as I’ll be in Colorado YAY! The end.

Holy crap, Anita Mui, known in HK as a great singer and equal actress, passed away due to complications of cervical cancer at age 40. She has played roles beside other greats like Jackie Chan and Chow Yun Fat. She had starred in some 50+ great movies from somewhere around 1984 until 2002. Two of my favorite starring her is Miracles and Drunken Master 2 (AKA in America as just ”Drunken Master”). I’m sure she will be surely missed. Anita Mui Films.

After a period of a very even game, it was quickly taken away LATE in the second period… oh say the last 20 seconds of the game when a miscall of a certain penalty was called. At first they were called for a penalty then somehow an opposite penalty was called reversing the last penalty. Joey B. was called for a Roughing call, but the other Ref agreed with us (after the fact) since Joe was up against the boards, there shouldn’t have been a call. However it was too late because we didn’t actually heatfully debate this issue until the end of the period which I might add was AFTER a goal was scored against us 3 seconds after the f’ked up penalty was called. Did that make sense? okok. 0:20 left penalty on us… BOOO!!!, 0:07 they score, 0:00 we bitch. Perhaps we should have disputed the call well before the 3 seconds passed, and I’m sure despite the 1 crap goal was scored, we should have still kept our heads in the game. I don’t know what happened out there, be it holidays still in our head or the fact that we haven’t had a game in a while, we just didn’t play out A game out there. Well, hopefully we’ll get out game back for tomorrow as we have a game at the HP Pavilion at 10:00. Don’t be f’kin late. I might be HAR. j/k I hope not…
