Brought in my iPhone cause the screen was coming apart. Lucky for me (I guess) the battery was swelling and they have to replace it for free! My rare lucky day. However, they’re out everywhere, so I have to wait a few days until I can get a new one. Oh well. Worth it to get a NEW one. Now, what does Apple have in store for the iPhone 6?

Jambalaya from scratch, no recipe. Yes, rice is a little over done should have taken it off earlier but was distracted by my workout. Oh well, tastes good.
TrackR
My TrackR is finally here!!! Mind you it’s not the TrackR Bravo that was on Indiegogo. This is the first gen they’re giving out free if you do some tasks for them. It’s wireless, but it’s crowd sourced Bluetooth, hence the giving away free. If it’s away from any other Bluetooth devices it can’t be tracked. This isn’t like a GPS locator so I’m not sure how well this will work. However, it does have a neat feature, on the app (yes, you need a smartphone) you can locate its last known location and make it beep. Likewise, if you lose your phone you can press the button on the TrackR and it’ll make your phone beep, even if it’s on silent! Now, what to put it on…
Dinner Salads
Two very different takes on a dinner salad. I stuck with my chicken and tater tot caesar salad. MoO went with a large salmon, mushroom and onion mixed greens with a piece of boring sourdough bread. I haven’t taught her how to plate yet. A simple change I would have made was cut the toast in an angle. Then I might have called it a crostini; but, no, now it’s just bread. Although, I do admit mine isn’t perfect. I’m missing a little more red color, I probably could have sprinkled some paprika for some extra color. It already cooked with paprika so why not? Oh, yeah, I’m not a photographer, so no remarks on the picture-taking skills themselves…
Much Better Day.
Today’s workouts was MUCH better. Did the normal T25 day workout and added a 4 mile walk/run. Now I just need to make sure I don’t over eat late night snacks!!!
Kimchi Bowl Noodles
It’s no secret that I love kimchi bowl noodles. I have a large box of bowls under my desk. Only, today I found that the box was missing one bowl. I had it sealed for several weeks since I couldn’t eat them due to my watching what I eat. I did eat one last Wednesday, but I recorded that, I record everything I eat… But now the box has TWO open spots where it should only have one. WTF people, it’s not for you. It’s not even in the community food area. Someone reached under my desk to take one. Another reason why I hate people.
Bicycle Maintenance Part 2
I got my bike back, a day early too. The price wasn’t bad, it was what they quoted me. And didn’t even need a new front inner tube. I didn’t want to spend more than $100, and walked out of there only spending $80.68. Though, I wanted to walk out of there after spending $700, but lucky I have willpower (and no money). …That and they only color they had in stock was red.
New Bike?
Yeah, I’m looking for a new bike. No, not a new motorcycle… not yet. I’m looking for a fixed/single-speed road bike. I found an interesting bike in my parent’s house. It was single-speed but it had a derailleur. Can’t find anything like that. Gotta find something super light, that isn’t $2-4k. Oh well. I have seen $500 carbon frames, so that’s a start; but those were from China.

Workout Weekend
Had a good workout today, no rest days for me, even on the weekend; only easy and hard days. Hope all this effort is worth it!
As a reward I had a semi unique dinner. It’s a steak caesar salad with tater tot “croutons” and yellow bell pepper rings. So random.
Sorry, I was too tired and hungry to actually plate it properly like I’d normally do.
Bicycle Maintenance
So, I took my bike in today. Earlier in the day I wanted to escape from the bike shop spending under $100. After discussing with the guy at the shop I was agreeing to over $200 in parts and labor, sadly most of it was my asking about this and that that got me there. However, I finally got him down to bare minimum, chain and tuneup for only $80. Much better than the first quote. But still I’m spending more than I should. Oh why can’t I just win the lottery? Everything would be a little easier.
