”I went to a fight today, and a hockey game broke out.” But, more on that later…

Tonight, we went to a minor league hockey game (Yeah, like I’ve had enough hockey yet) between the Seattle Thunderbirds and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. While not a very stimulating game at first, being completely one sided and ending with a score of 10-1; but I HAVE to say, it was THE BEST hockey game I’ve EVER seen! Why such a strong remark? Well, when you’re behind 9 points you and your team get a little frustrated, hard to NOT understand and sympathize. However, this usually leads to penalties, and usually the really fun-to-watch kind. I, of course, am talking about fights! Penalty after penalty was called, but not buy just one team, but both. Which goes to show, don’t retaliate when you get checked, tripped, whatnot.

The best part in this game was mostly the last 5, or so, minutes of the game. In those minutes, the game was practically dragged out to about a half an hour because of some cool fights. The highlight of the game was during a fight and basically everyone was paired off and the refs lost all control, I saw the guest goalie take off his helmet and started to skate away from his crease, at first I thought he was skating to the bench, but then he passed the center circle and skated toward the home goalie and started another fight. We actually got some good footage of that. The first one is only 5 seconds because my brother didn’t know where the zoom was. The second is 15 seconds. That was the first time I’ve ever seen or heard of a goalie fight. But when you’re getting scored on so much in one game, you really have nothing to lose. It was GREAT! There were 58 penalties called in that game. Who ever said minor leage hockey is boring!?

In Washington

I’m now in Washington, in case you haven’t heard. I managed to get broadband in my Hilton hotel room, YAY. $9.95/Day 12pm-12pm, lame. So I can keep you updated with my mundane life. I’d give you the 360 QuickTime, but my uncle is sleeping. Maybe later.

I have my little ”birdie” here with me. That’s what we named my laptop webcam. I think I shoulda brought my desktop webcam, ’cause it has a button on the top so I can take pictures by just clicking the button. Why is that important? I can take unlimited lame webcam pics without having my laptop out and open, and just leave it in my backpack and just click. Lame, yes, I know.

In case you didn’t know, I’m here to watch my brother’s ice hockey tournament. Two games down so far. Last night he lost against the Seattle team, leaving one of his teammates injured on his first shift (he’ll most likely play tomorrow). This morning at 10, he went against the L.A. team, who is in the same hotel, and came out on top 5-0. I forgot to mention, we watched this L.A. team play yesterday, and got their asses kicked something like 10-0. After today’s game, we watched their next adversaries, a Canadian team. And we all know Canada is known for good hockey teams. They were so-so. We’ll see tomorrow morning. Tomorrow, they have a ”double-header;” one game in the morning, and one in the evening.

BTW, I uploaded one of my clips. It’s a clip of the only goal I’ve scored in this season. Sure I had a goal pre-season, but that doesn’t really count. Sure it’s not pretty, no puck handle & no dekes, but I scored! That’s what really matters.

Things I’ve lost, so far: Sony earbuds & Fossil Watch…

Holy Crap, Remember Velocity X?

If anyone can remember, sometime several years ago, I was part of a racing/show-off crew. We called ourselves Velocity X Racing. Here’s the funny ass part: There’s now a video game called Hot Wheels: Velocity X. I kid you not! You can go see for yourself. I think one of us should sue, LOL. I have proof. Here is our old crew’s website. You can tell I was still playing with HTML. I even have 2 t-shirts with our logo. I’m getting my lawyer!

High Thai

Anyone remember that restraunt next to the Jack-In-The-Box on Prospect? Yeah, it isn’t there anymore. Now, it’s some Mexican restraunt. I swear, that place is cursed or something. I remember it’s been something new like every year. One year, I think it was some sushi bar or something. Can anyone remember what else that stupid thing was?

Disney Channel

moO made an interesting observation. The Disney Channel doesn’t show any product commercials. They only show Disney stuff and ”reading is cool” commercials. How odd. However, I wouldn’t be surprised that a company like Disney wouldn’t be hurt badly by not using sponsors. Isn’t Disney one of the richest company? They have a lot of other networks and make a truckload from their TWO parks and cheesy movies as well.

Bruised Wrist + Movies 2 See [Pic]

Being unemployed I have too much free time. I usually spend my day watching TV, looking for temp jobs online, looking for parts for my car, sleeping, or playing video games. Ah, sounds like a nice life, eh? Heck no, I want money so I can buy parts for my car. Today, I must have taken a hundred pictures of my wrist to get the perfect picture but just couldn’t get a good shot of it. Here’s the best one:

Movies to see: Two Towers (yeah, I still haven’t seen it.), 2 Fast 2 Furious (I can’t wait!), Matrix Reloaded (May) & Revolutions (Nov), X2 (Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Kelly Hu)(LOL, The new RX-8 has it’s first movie appearance here as Cyclops’ car), Bad Boys 2, Cradle 2 The Grave (Jet Li & DMX + Kelly Hu), Bulletproof Monk (Chow Yun Fat & Sean William Scott), T3, Biker Boyz (Laurence Fishburne, Kid Rock, & Orlando Jones), Anger Management (Adam Sandler & Jack Nicholson), DareDevil, Charlie’s Angels: Full Trottle

moO B-DAY and Wrist [Pics]

So, for moO’s birthday, which was last Friday, on Thursday after school I made her a big lasagna for dinner and surprised her with a big chocolate covered white cake with strawberry insides. I spent all day in the kitchen prepping, and then another hour just before she came home to cook the lasagna. It was really pretty. Too bad I didn’t et a pic of either the cake or the lasagna.

On Friday I took her out to Lisa’s Tea Treasures. It’s this little tea place in Los Gatos. You’re probably thinking, ‘Tea party? WTF is Adam girly?’ To which I have to respond… Yes, I like Lisa’s Tea Treasures, it’s nummylicious. I always get Louis XIV’s Favorite. From Lisa’s Tea Treasures Online, which look like they could use a new webmaster to add in the all important < BR > tags…

”Louis XIV’s Favorite (An Afternoon Tea in France) A fragrant Blackberry Jasmine Tea served with a Green Salad tossed in a Strawberry Darjeeling dressing, Fruit and Almonds accompanied by Brie En Croute, toasted Crumpets with Double Devonshire Cream & Preserves and Marquis Au Chocolat”

MMMMMM Yummy. Only SOMEONE ATE THE REST OF MY MARQUIZ AU CHOCOLATE I BROUGHT HOME AND LEFT AT moO’Z HOUSE! I’m never leaving important food there again. No one ever asks if they can eat it, they just DO! <^>

I think the bruise got a lot worse. I didn’t think it’d look this bad, but I suppose it should be a bruise at which the speed it was flying toward my wrist. The picture doesn’t do it justice. I doesn’t hurt too much but if touched it hurts a little. Good thing I have 2 weeks for it to heal before I have to play hockey again. Hope I don’t land on it if I go snowboarding.
