Adam’s in trouble…

With the final score of 3-5, we came out victorious! However, I felt useless as I forgot my skates. What a brilliant move on my part. I did get to use the rental loaner skates, but I think I would have done just as good with my shoes on. There was ZERO edge and when I try to make some moves and cut on the ice I’d end up falling. The first minute of my shift I fell and ran straight into the goal. This team was an OK team, but I think we all would have been alot better (at least I would have felt better) if I had my skates. I guess I have to go now and get off my lazy ass to go and sharpen them soon. Toodleloo!

I’m going to try to explain paradoxes with a simple analogy. Although I might end up explaining it wrong, so help me out.

Say you go back in time and you kill your parents. I know this is stupid, just work with me here. You go back in time and kill both your parents and there is no chance for their survival. Therefore you will cease to ever exist. No here’s where the paradox comes in. If you did in fact kill your parents, how would you have existed in the first place to go back in time? I’m thinking it can’t happen, not because time travel isn’t possible, but because if you have ceased to exist, you wouldn’t be able to go back in time to kill your parents. Perhaps you believe in the fouth dimension? Where you’re placed in some space/time continuum, where it acts as some sort of buffer.

Although, this is all in theory, this is what I believe. What do you think? LOL, Jesse, here’s your cue. Go off on this one!

Oh, this has no relation to the movie, “The One” with Jet Li. Although that movie is really about parallel universes, and not time travel, per se. This is just a random topic I’d like to discuss. I haven’t even seen the movie. Even though I’d like to. Guess I have to wait for my next unemployment check, whenever the hell that comes.

What is this world coming to? Another American Airlines plane down. Terrorists? We don’t know yet. My opinion? Osama is killing innocent lives, what makes this different? Tell everyone who doesn’t support him to get the hell out of the country, we’re going to nuke the sh’t out of the country! We are NOT afraid! Hell give me the button. For those of you wondering, the order it goes is: mastadon, pterodactyl, triceratops, sabretooth tiger, tyrannosaurus. No idea what I’m talking about? Don’t worry about it.

What was thought to be a breeze of a game with a score of 1-7 in the middle of the second period, another member of the team with a dark green jersey steps on the ice. From then on it was over, the guy was too damn good. Slapshots from the blue line, with some major heat I might add, nearly impossible for our goalie to block. It was only his 3rd week as goalie, however, he managed to block several of hits fireballs. Brave soul. I’d duck like a little girl… Ok, there are really good hockey girls in this league, so I don’t give them enough credit in which they deserve. I did manage to get in that dark green dude’s way a couple times and made him lose the puck, yay me! After all this whoeee, I managed to come out of this with one goal. I guess that’s better than nothing. However, it was not enough for us to win the game. We came out of the 3 periods with a score of 8-8. Sad…

On a side note, I’ve noticed lately that most of my goals are shot from the back hand. I wonder why that is…

I do know there’s a bug in the flash where even after you push the off button when it comes to the end, it still loops and starts over and starts playing again. HEY!
