Kitties, Too!

moO’s family found a little family of strays(?) under one of their properties. It’s a mommie cat and 4 babies that look about 4-6 weeks old. They managed to get 2 babies out from under the house; a black and white, and white-orangish one. At first they were not friendly, but on the phone I told moO, ”No worries, I can tame them. Kitties like me.” She didn’t believe me. But, I did! At first they hissed, a sure sign they haven’t had much human contact. But, after a few minutes of putting my fingers in front of them and trying to calm them down to assure I wouldn’t hurt them, I picked up the white one; which I sort of dubbed Muffin ’cause she looks like how a white cake muffin looks like it comes out of the oven, white with a little orange. Today, moO brought over the kitties to my house to frolic on the grass in our backyard in the sun. After a while we brought them inside where they poo-pooed on my comforter, which I’m washing right now. Everyone who knows me knows, or SHOULD know, I’m a cat person. I love cats, and I love kitties. These two really grew on me. I would love to keep them, but I know I wouldn’t be able to take care of them. I’m sure I’d have the time in a month when I sit at home once again. But, they won’t get along with our current cat residents, Tiger and Sammie. So, these, the Mommie cat, and the other 2 kitties need a home, SOON! I would hate to bring them to the SPCA only to have the kitties taken from their Mommie and the Mommie cat left there, OR scenario 2 they all get put asleep cause they can’t get a home. I can’t EVER watch them put a kitty to sleep EVER again. It’s so traumatizing. Yeah, I’ll put some pics up later on tomorrow… today… eR, Later…

Puppies

I never mentioned did I? Every day now for maybe until High School is over, not mine (My Aunt and Uncle are teachers), I drive butt early in the morning to Morgan Hill to take care of their dog’s new litter of 3. They’re Mastiffs like our dog, Cassie. If you’ve never seen a Mastiff, you’re in for a real big surprise. Think of a mini horse that looks like a dog. Our dog weighs a little over 200 pounds. Crazy. So, yeah, maybe I’ll remember to take a picture or two tomorrow…

Hockey Saturday

TEAMS 1st 2nd 3rd TOTAL Shots On Goal
Misfits 1 0 0 1 15
DJ Hobby 1 2 1 4 26

My slump is officially over. This weeks game I scored the first and our only goal making my record 2 weeks with a point scored. After this goal, I thought we were set. But, I was wrong, that was too bad. I thought we were doing really strong despite the lack of players this week. I guess on long weekends people with money go out of town. I had several chances for my first hat trick of this league but failed bad. My first attempt I had a break away, skated to the goal, the goalie skated towards me to challenge, I deke to the right, goalie commited to the right, I pulled the puck to the left and skated behind him to shoot the puck and SCORE! … whilst falling to my knees sliding to the far post. Not perfect, but it was a goal right? On other attempt, I had another break away on the far right side of the ice, I came to the center for a better angle took a shot and, *PING* right side of the right post – WIDE, damnit. Oh well. I got one goal that game. Oh, did I mention it was a shorthanded goal? Nice. Well, hopefully, I’ll play even better next week… It’s a Monday game, 9:45PM and I gotta wake up the next morning to take care of the puppies. I hope I can wake up.

Paintball Sunday

This weekend the guys and I went paintballing. We invited a bunch of people but only ended up being the usual 3 of us.

But, I should have taken it as a sign, as it was to be a bad day. We started the day as usual, but I just seemed to suck really bad. I know I haven’t played in like a week, but I really sucked. Most of the games in the beginning I got tagged with a headshot, without even shooting a single shot, and when I did, my gun would jam up or shoot three at a time. So, I sucked AND I was having gun problems. During the lunch break I took apart my gun to find my ball stop broke and I was missing a trigger spring. I fixed it and finally my gun was stable again. However, my game AND health wasn’t.

Before the lunch break, my eye allergies blew up. After the lunch break and with my gun fixed I played again only to have to stop again because my nose got all stuffed up. In addition my throat began to swell and I was unable to speak like normal. With my hoarseness we decided to call it a sh’tty day and go home early. Later that evening I saw on the news that the allergy season is really bad this season. How can I disagree? Hopefully, next paintball session will prove more entertaining.
