I know I complained about having another two week break between hockey games. But, after getting a puck to the ‘nads in last week’s game, I’m kinda glad to have that break. Grrr… I hope it goes away soon. The pain, I mean.

What a game! I think we dominated them the whole game, or at least the 59 minutes we had a shut out. Yes, I sh*t you not. We somehow let 3 goals in the net in the last minute. 0:46, 0:44, and 0:04. You couldn’t have at least stopped the puck the last 4 seconds of the game so I could have the winning goal? HA j/k We played really well with 2 full lines. Dan led us off early in the first period (15:01 left) with a shorthanded goal. Byron scores from a pass from JoeH. That guy Adam scores one on a breakaway from the bench after a penalty expires. Near the beginning of the 3rd Russ takes a shot from Downtown and scores. (hrm, maybe they only use “downtown” in basketball. oh well, I’m using it in hockey today). I think this was a very well played game. Especially since we just played the #1 team and WAS undefeated. Bah, don’t let them tell you all there GOOD players were absent. HA whatever. Great game guys. Way to show the #1 team it isn’t over yet.

Finals are over! Yay! Too bad I still have years left damnit…

Anyone catch T.H.E.M. Last night? Er, earlier. Totally Hidden Extreme Magic. I love magic shows, no matter how fake, just cause it LOOKS cool. Everything’s about camera tricks, even if they say it isn’t; at least that’s how it’s been done in the past… I’ll keep thinking that until I see otherwise. Like I said before, it still looks cool. Apparently, according to my brother, my dad knows one of T.H.E.M. Ha. Cool, now I’ll find out for sure!

Just so you know, EA’s policies have changed. There is no Internet for temp employees. So no outside email, no web surfing, no AIM; even on breaks. WTF?! RAY! It’s your fault! Seems they’re way stricter on the non-disclosure stuff. Some chick got fired from EA ’cause she mentioned something about a release of a future game on a blog just like this. So, no info from mE!

OMG, permanent commute from San Jose to Redwood City… 10AM-7PM NICE!!! Like NO heavy traffic! AAAANNNNNDDDDD It’s only M-F!!! At first I was hoping to work weekends too, just to miss traffic. But, now I won’t even have to, even if I wanted to! Not that I have to worry about working a weekend to miss a day of traffic, ’cause I don’t get heavy traffic! NICE! I’m still tired from the work and driving. But, the $2 more than the last job helps. =)

[EDIT] 6/21 10:51AM… Before I forget again, there’s no sunglasses on the floor while you’re working. It sounds pretty simple. Why do you need sunglasses inside of the office? Apparently, someone got high and tried to hide it with sunglasses. Damn, now I can’t hide my sleeping with sunglasses anymore. j/k [/EDIT]

No doubt about it, we had no flow, no game. JoeH left the ice early first period (I believe) with a groin injury. Recover fast, Joe. The opposing goalie left lots of space for a come back, but we just couldn’t get it to the net enough. But, when we did, we (sadly) made him look good. The refs can suck the big fat one. You know who you are.we had 5 penalties by the end of the second (including my lame high stick when he hit me with a high stick too), to their ONE penalty. LAME! Grats to me for a nice ”charging” at the last :23, and some how come out with the receiver with the penalty. But, now, I have a bum elbow, the same damn elbow I f*ck up every other time, eventually it’ll go out on me, just wait. Well, we all have 2 weeks to heal up, get on the treadmill/bikes and prepare for out next win in two weeks. Enjoy the father’s day.

WOOOHOOOOO, I have another job. Albeit temp, but still income! YAY! Yes, I’m a tester again, but this time just a reg tester not a CQC tester, although I could probably join that group again. Here, I’ll stay on one game the duration of my stay with the option of moving to a new project. Hell, maybe I can move to CQC if I can’t get to another project. Maybe not, I never got an email back from one of the bosses, when I just said hi again HA. Well, I hope my stay at EA can last a while, Maybe to the end of the year at least.

FAAAAWWWWWKKKKKKKKKK I go soooooo pW0ned this mid term. I gotta ace the damn final to do decent in the damn class. GAH! I better be getting a job soon!

What seemed to be a very even game in the first two periods, ended up with us on top, very strong. With two great goals from Bryan, we pushed to the lead. I don’t know how he did it, but somehow looked like he was totally going to topple over when he cut to the right really sharp, but maintained that edge. Must be those ”throw away blades” he’s got! Someone’s gotta tell Bryan not to change his number so much, they might not award him the goals on their website. But, I will… So grats to Bryan and grats to Jeff for a great shutout. Hell, grats everyone who played, we all played hard and kept them on their toes all throughout the game. Good job guys, that’s 3 in a row, keep it coming! Looking at the sched, we have alot of ”early” games. Next week is the worst, at 12:15 I don’t welcome that time. Be there, we have to trample the Lynx and their cool cheer, on TAPE no less!
