Did I forget to mention? Adam has a new job! Through Option 1 (some temp agency) I got a job at Best Buy as a Technical Representative for Belkin’s wireless products. ”You work at Best Buy?” Well, technically, yes. But, I don’t work for Best Buy. ”Isn’t it still retail? I thought Adam hates retail.” I suppose it’s retail. But, it isn’t retail as anyone else has known it. My definition of a retail job is a sh*tty job with sh*tty pay. Now, I’m in a sh*tty job, with decent pay. So, it’s not all TOO bad. But, Adam still hates people and also hates the helping of those people. Oh, did I mention it’s in San Carlos? @#$%$#%#$ … no comment… There’s a story behind it, but I won’t get into it now… So, if you’re in the area from M-Th, 1-9 , I’ll probably be there too.

The weirdest thing happened at work today, other than it being my first day and was completely disoriented (not to mention I haven’t worked in retail in like 3 YEARS!, so I haven’t stood for 8 hours straight for, like, forever), there was a store wide power outage! I dunno what happened, and I dunno if it was just the store. After the power came back on, about five minutes later, they found out 4 of the Sony desktop computers fried. Just goes to show you, even with the best surge protector, always have a battery back-up… Or don’t buy Sony just because of the name… Supposedly, Sony’s are VERY touchy with powering down correctly. Blah. If that was my case, my computer would have ceased working years ago, maybe even days after i got it.

Oh, and BTW, my Li’l C (tentative name) is NOT ”bak sik”! Find someone who can speak Cantonese and get that translated.

Chalk up another loss for us! YAY! We’re now 0-2 thanks to the nice loss of a score of 5-2, which brings me to a -4.

Don’t understand +/-? Neither do I, really. I think it’s scored as you get a plus everytime your team scores a goal on the ice, and a negative for every time the other team scores while you’re on the ice. It sort of gives you an idea of who isn’t doing their job on the ice.

Last period, I get leveled by someone on the other team, I get up and get leveled by my other winger. Nice. I hit my head pretty hard on the ice, ’cause I wasn’t expecting it. Good thing I wear a helmet. Then again, right now, it feels like I wasn’t wearing one. =( Oh well, I’m sure we’ll do better next time, so I can boost my numbers some, and maybe get out of the negative…

Wheeee, less than 2 more hours until the season premiere!!! Oh, moO, it’s G-R-O-C-E-R-Y.

I talked to Sony’s Service Department, they’re hopeful my CLI

So, a couple of weeks ago I had to send my CLI

Stupid Safeway just gave me a mail in rebate for buying Coke products. IT’S FOR ONE DOLLAR! I have to mail in a $1 rebate and wait 4-6 weeks to get it. IT’S ONE DOLLAR! I lose money on a stamp! So, I only really only get a stupid 63 CENTS! Is that really worth it? Wait! I forgot, I have to pay for an envelope to send it in too! OH, the humanity. Someone want a rebate?

Square does it again! Starting with the Final Fantasy series, they’ve built themselves up a lot. Now they come up with ”Kingdom Hearts!” You’ve probably already seen the commercial on TV. The theme song, I found out, is sung by Utada Hikaru! The game looks like it’ll be a kiddie cartoony game, but none the less, it actually looks fun. It’s a weird fusion Disney cartoon with Japanese Anime style characters, featuring some old Final Fantasy characters! So far, I’ve seen a clip of Cloud, Aeris, and it’s weird ’cause they added a voice to him and the other Final Fantasy characters who previously did not have voices. Also starring in this Squaresoft production is a whole slew of Disney characters, both good and evil, and I mean A LOT! Characters such as Hades, Goofy, Donald, and Maleficent, to name not even close to half, play parts in this magnificent looking game. If you’re familiar with summoning, you’ll appreciate the fact that you can summon characters like Simba (from the ”Lion King”) to help you out on your journey. Don’t like RPGs? Tough, ’cause you’re probably missing out on a good game. Actually, from clips and SSs the battle system looks more like a Zelda/Street Fighter game. I’ll post more if I ever get around to getting this one. I still have a lot of games to play. This one is a MUST get!

Yes, that’s the name of the hockey team that I’m playing with now. I’m playing at the Ice Centre in San Jose now. Today was the first game of the season. Yeah, I don’t really want to talk about it right now. Needless to say, I wasn’t really on my game today. We managed to lose 1-5. I scored a goal though… For the other team. It went of my skate and into my goal. How stupid is that? I did managed to draw a lot of penalties today, something around four today. That might be a personal best. Too bad it didn’t help any. So, yeah, I was beat up pretty well today. The last hit I took was from behind, I was skating towards the puck that was in the corner of the other end, and then I get crosschecked into the boards and slam my elbow into the boards. Penalty! After I got up, and got my bearings, the center on my team asked me, ”What are you made of, rubber?” I guess it’s ’cause I took so many hits today, and just got back up to play. I gotta get back on the treadmill and work on my stamina again…

So, yeah, I’m still running on the treadmill, as much as my body will allow me. I try to eat LOTS less bad food, thanks to moO’s influence. I am still spending a LOT of money on Jamba Juice. It’s healthier, but expensive. I have to rethink the healthy part though. I always get the Berry Lime Sublime Powersize no boost. Maybe I should get a boost. Anyone have any recommendations? I found out that my drink is about 560 calories!!! So, I can’t eat all that much the rest of the day. I’m not on any diet, but I’m still trying to lose some holiday insulation from 2 years ago. So, I still try to get under 2000 calories. Hrm, OK, that sounds like a ”diet,” call it what you wish.

After much, MUCH time, I finally beat another Final Fantasy. Previously this was my FF record. FF7 – Beat, FF8 – Last boss, FF9 – Eh, I played it a little, FFX – Still in the plastic wrap. Sad. I managed to beat FF9 this week, that is, after 60 some odd hours. Sad. I’m told it can be done in 13! I’m aiming for finishing FF8 before I play 10. I tried to beat 8 a couple times, unsuccessful. *Sigh* I gotta get a job designing games. No, wait. I’ll settle for A job… Well, you know what I mean.

You think you have bad neighbors? Think again. Check out: ”Redneck Neighbors.” And to think, yesterday, my mom yelled at me because I was throwing away trash and recyclables away at 12 AM in the morning! Now, there’s something to complain about!

Ah the things people do for money. I’ve gotten an email before stating they’re from nigeria, or something rather, and they have an excess of $19Mil but can’t get to it, and they need my help. hrm… Hope no one I know has fallen for it. Well, next time you do get one, you should play with them a little, kind of like this guy. It’s pretty long, but if you’re bored like I am most of the time, it’s worth the read.
