F’n Knee

Damn, my f’n knee is f’ked up!!! Stupid SuperBlueStuff doesn’t work. Maybe that’s only for soreness, and I have something worse. The thing is my actual knee cap and surrounding area doesn’t hurt. Maybe something deep in my knee is messed up. Damnit! It didn’t hurt yesterday after the game, not until like 10pm did I start feeling it. Well, I have a month to get better for the next season. But, then again, I need time to get on the treadmill before the new season.

TEAMS 1st 2nd 3rd TOTAL Shots On Goal
Misfits 0 0 1 1 ?
Ice Weasels 3 2 1 6 ?

Today was our first and last playoff game of the season. Within the first 30 seconds a goal was scored against us. Hrm, not a good start. I managed to break both of my skate laces before the drop of the first puck, so while tieing my skates I managed to miss what happened. I think that was the sh’ttiest biased refed game I’ve ever played. The same guy who skated through me the other game, still skated through me this game like I wasn’t even there. But, the last shift I was on, I got him pretty good. I was trying for a good clip and got real low and push up for a hip check. Imagine the cool flip-checks they do in the Mighty Ducks. But, then as I started to go over our bench he back checks me, but nothing is called. Then one of our guys checks him and he gets called for a 3rd-man-in penalty, which constitutes a ~7 minute penalty and you get kicked out of the game. I served his penalty because after that hit I didn’t have any strength for another shift, and plus I don’t think there was even enough time for another shift for me. However this wasn’t our only ejection. Our captain was ejected in the second period for God know what. The refs were being A-holes and were calling everything wrong. I don’t even know how many penalties were in our favor versus else. Completely unfair calls, sure they were still out playing us, but it might help our moral just a tad if the calls were somewhat fair. Prob not. After our captain was ejected in the second, we went all out, full check, at least without getting caught by the zebras. Bah, were out of the playoffs. But, I hear they’re getting bumped to a higher division, them being undefeated and all. On the upside of hockey, at least we had a chance, the Sharks… That’s another story. Another up? Summer season is around the corner, starts first weekend in April! So to those who didn’t get to see me last weekend, have more chances soon.

Oh, and I never got a chance to apologize to Belle, apparently she was there at my game last week and 1. I didn’t see her in the stands 2. She asked for me after the game and I had already left. Sorry, Belle.

Enemy Of The State [Link][Pics]

Earlier today, before the weird blackout of several blocks around my house, moO and I watched Enemy of the State. I really enjoy that movie, me being the technophile that I am… (moO told me about that word, I didn’t even know that technophile was a word! I was wrong. Sounds kinda scary, like I should go and f’ck my computer or something. Then again read the Dictionary definition) Anyway, what scared me today was when I was wandering the Wired, like I always do, I wandered myself onto the MapQuest page. I’m no stranger to Mapquest, as I frequently use MapQuest to not actually get to my designation but to get myself lost. This time, I decided to put my address in the map option and clicked ”ariel view.” It gave me these photos:

My%20House My%20House My%20House
Can you tell me which house is mine?

Does this scare anyone else? Especially, after watching Enemy of the State, you kind of wonder how much power our government really has, especially at times such as this. Just remember, they’re watching…

Are You Lost? [Link]

Damnit, someone tell me how to play this damn game! LOST

– 3/11/03 12:04 Ok… I Think I figured some of it out. At least the part I’m working on, there’s not much interaction. Just log in and chose a mission. I was like, how the heck am I supposed to buy a computer to do anything with only 500cr and all the computers are like 15,000! Then I looked in my ”Hardware” and I already had stuff there… For now it seems like a waste of time. More or less like Sims Online, how you just run a command then leave the computer; only with Lost, you don’t even need to be online…

Good & Bad

Let’s play a game of ”Good News/Bad News.”

The Good News: Due to a mathematical error in the league’s books, we’re in the playoffs.

The Bad News: We’re playing the same team we lost to yesterday…

I don’t want to talk about it. But, does it matter?

Edited 3/10/2003 3:51PM Yesterday wasn’t such a good day for hockey. My brother got shutout 2-0, the Sharks got shutout 3-0 and we got shutout 5-0.

Early yesterday morning I went to my brothers game, only to see them lose. But, my brother’s excuse was that he didn’t play because he has a bruised kidney. Although, his coaches and my dad was going to let him play the last 5 minutes. But, his team kept messing up and getting penalties creating powerplays for the other team, and didn’t allow Phillip on the ice.

Immediately after the game they had a practice on the same ice. So I geared up and had a scrimmage with them. That was fun, because I knew most of the guys because of the Washington trip and they wanted a go against me. Nick wanted badly to drop the gloves and go at it, but I had to be on his team. I guess we could have done it anyway. While on the ice in the scrimmage, Phillip kept reminding me that I had a game later, and that I should stop or I’d get tired in my game. Surprisingly enought, I didn’t really stop playing in the scrimmage, but I didn’t even really get tired in my game either! I must be getting more and more used to stress on my lungs, YAY.

Our game was the sh’ttiest game we’ve played, and it seemed like we gave up too early. So, in the first period (early in the period) a goal was scored on us. It was a really lame goal too, our guy was pushed into our goalie and the goal was pushed off the pins in the ice, and the puck went past the line and the goal was awarded. This already soured our game, and pretty much left us not wanting to bother (since we knew how this stupid game was going to be officiated by these A-hole zebra police.) 1st period I had some good speed on a defenceman and he hooks me and I fly. I finish the check because he has the puck andwe both get a penalty. That was f’cking lame.

I managed to block another shot in my ”offensive-butterfly” but it my arm, I don’t have a bruise yet, but it still hurts, and I’m sure it’ll show up soon. My brother told me I was stupid for going down into the butterfly to block a shot. But I said that it was dumb to stand up straight to block a shot, and that I could block a more area in the butterfly than if I were to stand up straight. I’m not afraid of getting hit with the puck. Maybe I’ll learn when I really get hit. LOL

Then in the 3rd period a mini-scrum breaks out in our end, and at the same time my dad’s cousin Gary (who’s on my team) is pushed by someone on the other team, and the ref calls them both in addition to the ones in the mini-scrum. The ref didn’t even look at Gary and the other guy. He only saw Gary get pushed. Stupid Refs.
